ANAHEIM, CA – April 4, 2013 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – GBC Motorsports is offering their “GBC Bucks” contingency program for the 2013 Iowa ATV Hare Scramble Series. The program allows riders of any level and classification to earn rewards based on top finishes in IATVHSS events. GBC is offering more than $17,000 in GBC Bucks throughout the season.

The GBC Bucks Awards Program rewards ATV and UTV riders who achieve racing success while using GBC Motorsports tires. Top finishers in all classes who run GBC tires and display GBC decals will be rewarded with GBC Bucks, which they may then redeem towards the purchase of tires from GBC Motorsports.

Iowa participants interested in the program must complete the accompanying GBC Bucks form at each event and must mail or fax the forms to GBC’s California office within 30 days of the event:

Polaris Announces 2011 Race Teams and Contingency

Polaris to have representation in various series

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – January 04, 2011 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Polaris comes into the 2011 race season with teams competing in the Grand National Cross Country series (GNCC), World Off-Road Championship series (WORCS), Best in the Desert (BITD), TORC, LUCAS and Mud racing. Polaris also will continue to offer their ATV racing contingency program.

Rath Racing

Rath Racing is back for a third year to race the Sportsman XP 850 with Power Steering and the new RANGER RZR XP 900 in GNCC. Daryl Rath continues to dial in the Sportsman XP 850 and has his sites set on No. 1 in the “4×4 Open” class. Rath also will race the new RANGER RZR XP 900 in the “Open Modified” Side-by-Side class.

Yokley Racing

Polaris will continue to support the Yokley Racing/National Guard race team for 2011. William Yokley took his National Guard RANGER RZR 800 to the top of the “Open Modified” class for 2010 and will look to repeat his title with the new RANGER RZR XP 900 in 2011. Jagged X

Jagged X looks to keep their championship streak alive in Best in the Desert Championship with the new RANGER RZR XP 900. Brandon Schueler, Chad Riccio and Mike West will be back for another exciting season in the new 88-horsepower, extreme Side-by-Side.

Walker Evans

RJ Anderson will be back to race the TORC and LUCAS Oil series with his new Walker Evans RANGER RZR XP 900. When he’s not tearing up those series, Anderson also will try select WORCS and GNCC races.

Highlifter

Team Highlifter-Polaris Racing will be muddin’ on Polaris’ once again for 2011. The team will be racing Sportsman 850 XP, Sportsman 550, RANGER XPs and RANGER RZRs.

Harley-Davidson expands 2011 Contingency for AMA XR1200 Series

MILWAUKEE, WI – December 17, 2010 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Harley-Davidson Motor Company is pleased to announce a $45,000 contingency fund in support of the AMA Pro Racing Vance & Hines XR1200 Series, which expands to nine rounds of the 2011 AMA Pro Road Racing season schedule with a kickoff at Daytona International Speedway March 10-12.

The contingency program will pay out $5,000 to the top 10 finishers in each of the series’ nine rounds, with each race winner earning $1,250 from Harley-Davidson. Second place will receive $1,000, followed by $750 for third, and $500 for fourth. Fifth through tenth place finishers will each receive $250.

“After an exciting debut season, Harley-Davidson is proud to increase its commitment to the XR1200 series for 2011 and expects the series to build on the momentum established last year,” said Steve Piehl, Harley-Davidson Director of Customer Experience. “Our contingency fund doubles the fund offered by Vance & Hines and should provide an extra incentive for racers contemplating joining the series.”

In addition to running at Daytona for the first time, the XR1200 Series also expands westward to Northern California’s Infineon Raceway (May 13-15) and Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park on May 28-30 in conjunction with the United States round of the FIM’s World Superbike championship.
