International Speedway Corporation Names Scott Paddock President of Chicagoland Speedway

DAYTONA BEACH, FL – January 04, 2011 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – International Speedway Corporation (Nasdaq Global Select Market: ISCA; OTC Bulletin Board: ISCB) (“ISC”) today announced that Scott Paddock has been named President of Chicagoland Speedway, effective January 18.  Mr. Paddock formerly served as Director of Sports Marketing for the Gatorade Company, a division of PepsiCo Inc.

Mr. Paddock, 42, a 15-year veteran in the sports marketing industry, will report to ISC President, John R. Saunders and will be responsible for all operations of Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Raceway.

Joining Gatorade in 1998, Mr. Paddock was most recently responsible for the management of the brand’s $120 million sports marketing sponsorship portfolio, including all league, team and spokesperson relations and negotiations.  Prior to joining Gatorade, Mr. Paddock was with Sports Partners, a sports marketing and advertising agency that specialized in assisting corporate clients in activating their sponsorship rights and assets.

Mr. Paddock received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1990. He has served on a number of boards and committees, including the United States Olympic Committee Athlete Advisory Council; member of Executive Committee and Board of Directors – USA Basketball; Chicago 2016 Olympic Committee; and member of the Board of Directors for Camouflage Kids. He was a professional basketball player and a starter on the 1995 United States National Team.  Mr. Paddock was also named a member of the Sports Business Journal’s prestigious Forty Under Forty class for 2008. He and his wife reside in Orland Park, Illinois, and have two daughters.

Roger Lee Hayden to Ride For Michael Jordan Motorsports in 2011

CHICAGO, IL – November 18, 2010 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Michael Jordan Motorsports (MJM) is pleased to announce the signing of Roger Lee Hayden.  Hayden will join new MJM rider Ben Bostrom as the team competes for the 2011 AMA Pro Racing National Guard Superbike championship.

Hayden, the youngest member of the famed Hayden racing dynasty, won the 2007 AMA Supersport Championship and returns to U.S. racing after a season on the World Superbike circuit and a Moto 2 wildcard entry at Indianapolis in 2010.

The 26-year-old Hayden boasts 14 career wins since 2004 and has visited the podium no fewer than 38 times in his professional career. He brings with him a renewed hunger to achieve and a desire to prove that he has what it takes to be a race winner.

MJM is continuing to monitor the recovery of Aaron Yates, who has decided to take the necessary time to allow his injured right leg to heal.  After successful bone graft surgery in September, Yates is progressing better than expected, according to his doctors.
