US Highland Signs Two Master Regional Dealerships

16 09 2010

GLENPOOL, OK – September 16, 2010 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – US Highland, Inc. (OTCBB: UHLN), a U.S. based designer and manufacturer of high performance, premium quality Motocross, Supermoto, Quad and Enduro motorcycles, announced today that the Company has signed two regional master dealers covering the mid-west region.

The Company’s strategy is to build a network of 10 regional or master dealerships that sell, develop and support territorially defined dealerships within their region. A major benefit to the dealers, besides superior quality and performance of Highland motorcycles, is that the bikes are custom fit for each customer, which is combined with a normal two week factory delivery eliminating the need of inventory. Highland dealers need only a limited number of bikes for demonstration purposes. Without extensive inventory need, flooring costs are dramatically reduced, creating enhanced cash management and credit risk reduction and impacting the gross margin of each Highland product sold.

Darin Long, Chief Operating Officer of US Highland, Inc. stated, “We are very pleased to be regaining our stride since the July air crash tragedy. Highland Regional Dealers are key to our distribution and support model. Each one will serve on the Highland Dealer Board helping us create a better customer distribution, service and support model. We receive many new dealer inquiries daily that will now be delivered to our Regional Dealers for dealership development and expansion. New dealer interest is well balanced across the country and continues to exceed our expectations.”

George Smith, VP of Sales & Marketing, said, “This is a huge leap forward for us and I am thrilled that we have made such a tremendous step in a positive direction. Our Regional Dealers will be able to provide an additional sales platform for our sponsorship products. Currently, we are in discussion with oil companies; insurance companies; soft drink companies and clothing lines for prospective sponsorship. This is a wonderful opportunity for all parties involved.”

Kurt King, Senior Marketing Agent for Dealer Services and Promotions, commented, “I am excited to assist these motorcycle enthusiasts who have great entrepreneurial vision. I congratulate them for their courage to put forth investment and leadership into the future of the power sports Industry.” King also went on to say, “US Highland brings cutting edge technologies and marketing concepts to the power sports public.”

US Highland Enters Into Discussions for Technology Licensure

1 09 2010

TULSA, OK – August 31, 2010 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – US Highland (OTCBB: UHLN) announced today that management has entered a definitive agreement with a nationally distributed USA boat manufacturer for the licensure of Highland motor technology and for the manufacture of engines by US Highland. Discussions involve a potential multi-year agreement that would extend US Highland’s industry and product diversification. The anticipated contracts could boost US Highland’s revenue stream exponentially over the next three years.

Chief Executive Officer Steven Moel states, “A central element to our business model is to leverage our core technology and brand into as many market segments as possible thereby increasing brand recognition and value. We believe that our proven motor platform has a broader market appeal than only the motorcycle and quad arena. In expanding our reach into other markets, we consider marine applications of our technology are a natural fit, especially when you consider our Swedish/Viking roots. Pursuant to our licensing practice and ongoing business development, we have entered into discussions with a national aluminum boat manufacturer. We expect to conclude our discussions and negotiate a license agreement with our potential partner within the next sixty days. The contemplated license will be for our engines which will be offered in their product line. Our licensee is well positioned within a market in which sales exceeded $400 million in 2009, and which supports a large aftermarket that includes retrofits and outboard upgrades. Our intention is to offer companies who have need and appetite for stronger performance in their product line to fill those needs with a new innovative and dynamic resource at highly competitive prices.”

US Highland, Inc. is a US based designer and manufacturer of high performance, premium quality Motocross, Supermoto, Quad and Enduro motorcycles. Highland’s remarkably light, robust and powerful engine platform has drawn the attention of several significant global brands. Patented unique engine and fuel system designs are part of the growing suite of Highland IP being created through the R & D efforts of the company.
