Racing 905 Steps Up as New Title Sponsor of XDL Championship Series Sickest Trick Competition

10 07 2012

LOS ANGELES, CA – July 10, 2012 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – For the last 4 seasons, Chula Vista, CA-based Racing 905 has been a strong supporter of XDL. In 2011 Racing 905 took a big step in sponsoring the Racing 905 Speed & Style competition, and this season, Racing 905 is going even bigger by taking over as title sponsor for the Racing 905 Sickest Trick. The Racing 905 Sickest Trick competition format gives a rider one minute in which he or she can perform any one trick. If the trick is completed, then the rider is scored by fellow competitors, and the rider with the highest score walks away with $1,000 in cold hard cash.

“Sickest Trick has always been our most popular competitions,” stated XDL series founder Randy Grube. “To now have Racing 905 as the title sponsor is icing on the cake because that group of people has been around XDL and supported us for many years. In fact Racing 905 is the only XDL sponsor that is on the ground at every event, helping to set up and tear down and manage the show. It’s a great relationship and we’re glad we have Racing 905 on our team.”

“We’ve been with XDL for a long time and in this sport for even longer,” remarked Racing 905 founder Aaron Celiceo. “So for us to become such an integrated part of XDL is really cool because as XDL is getting bigger and establishing itself in countries outside the U.S., it helps us grow the Racing 905 brand and visibility for our products. XDL has come a long way and we’re in this for the long haul.”
